We finally got the keys after a 9-month delay. What we checked in the flat before signing the possession letter:
- every tap and flush, and the hot water
- slopes in bathrooms and balconies (pour a bucket of water)
- dampness in the walls next to bathrooms
- door and window locks, and that the windows close tight
- electrical points, with a small tester
- the measured carpet area
We found 23 small issues. The builder fixed 20 in two weeks. Make a list with photos and get it signed by their site engineer.
